RICE'S ROOM

Mr. Rice's room faces
Main Street. Mr. Rice lead a remarkable life including being
captured in the Battle of Chancellorsville and spending a
winter as a prisoner of war in Libbey Prison in Richmond,
VA during the Civil War. Local artist Stephen
Alcorn has adorned the walls in Mr. Rice’s room
with his artwork inspired by the civil war. |
